For over 30 years, Al-Anon/Alateen of Colorado, has been organizing and holding the Colorado Al-Anon/Alateen Convention (as invited guests of AA), usually a weekend event packed full of recovery-related meetings and activities. The convention has been held at locations around the state to make attendance more convenient for different regions.

The weekend starts with Friday afternoon and evening activities, a full day on Saturday with a banquet and dance at night, and Sunday morning meetings often focused on spiritual topics. You can attend for a day or the entire weekend.

For 2023, the Area 5 Al-Anon/Alateen Conventuin will be held at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley, CO on September 1st, September 2nd and September 3rd, 2023.
